Dance Designs was founded by Sandy Schroeder. Sandy designs and handcrafts the fine art original sterling silver jewelry of Dance Designs. She trained with Gus Giordano, and is proud to serve on the Board of Directors of Jazz Dance World Congress.

She teaches Jazz Dance at Mira Costa Community College located in Cardiff by the Sea, San Diego, California.

Sandy has had a diverse career teaching, performing, choreographing, and producing dance.  She owned a professional school and retail dancewear store in Michigan for many years. During that time she also taught at Delta College, directed a dance company, and held annual statewide dance seminars with Gus Giordano. She is a member of the Cecchetti Council of America and Dance Masters of America.

A believer in life long learning, she earned a Master of Arts in Education, Postsecondary Educational Leadership at San Diego State University in 1996 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance at the United States International University, San Diego in 1990.

She also serves on academic and administrative committees dealing with education, social issues, and the arts. Sandy's love for dance and the arts is the inspiration for Dance Designs.
